Harry's Nut Butter

What happens when you try to put spices in things you shouldn’t? If you’re Harry, you accidentally start Dublin’s nut butter revolution.

This is a super versatile nut butter made almost entirely by accident by Harry in Dublin. Luckily enough, it’s one of the best things since sliced bread. And just like sliced bread, Harry recommends that you don’t overthink it. Add a dollop to whatever you fancy. Pour it onto your avocado on toast, wack some into a soup for a West African twist, lob it into a sandwich or even stick some on the side of your cheese board. One of Harry’s customers even puts a whole boiled egg straight into the jar. We wouldn’t go there, but you get the point.

“People really liked it and I thought whatever, it’s just nut sauce.”

Harry worked in the Fumbally cafe in Dublin. As he describes it, he was an all round nuisance, whilst also working in the kitchen and running a few events. Harry’s also a curious fella, and he’d sneak chilli in places it should never have got to. After a string of events that he can’t quite remember, his chilli and spices end up in the unlikeliest of places: nut butter. Oddly enough, it tasted good. Really good. So they started serving it in the cafe alongside food, and that’s when things got really out of hand. They’d send out a full jar with a meal, and it’d come back empty. Totally void. There wasn’t even enough bread to hold that much nut butter!

Harry’s boss, Luca, pulls him aside one day to have a chat. He tells Harry that he dreamt that they should start jarring up the nut butter. And that was that. Harry didn’t need much more convincing. The whole thing began and it hasn’t really stopped since. They got a workhorse of a machine from Alibaba, and Harry’s whizzing and blending his nut butts off. It’s the unlikeliest story, but it really tastes oh so good.

Original

This is the Big Daddy. It’s slightly sweet, kind of salty, a little bit spicy and
incredible on toast. Drizzle it over your roast veg, slather it on a cheese toastie, blitz it into a soup or simmer it into a sauce.

Coco Buzz

This one hits you with sweet hazelnut, coconut and slightly bitter & crunchy cacao nibs with coffee hanging out in the mix. Spread it on a slice of thick crunchy toast, maybe lob it on your ice cream or add it to your brownie mix, tszuj up your morning porridge or eat it off your fingers.

Extra Hot

The same sweet, salty and smokey nut butt you know and love but with added HEAT. Use this one as a shortcut to the perfect korma or watch it bubbling out the side of a kimchi toastie, maybe lob it in a stir fry or dip crunchy raw veg in it, just slather it on a digestive or generously heap it on hot buttered toast.

Pure Peanut

You might know Harry’s Nut Butter from the spicy, salty, and sweet renditions but it all starts with Pure Peanut. A smooth, freshly milled peanut butter made by Harry and co with a workhorse of a machine they bought on Alibaba. It’s just peanuts, sea salt and a teeny tiny touch of agave. It’s perfect drizzled over your porridge, go on and mix it up in your home baking or a classic satay.

Super Crunchy

It's like Pure Peanut but I guess you could say it's super crunchy. Those lil' peanuts are buried deep in creamy peanut heaven. This is next level nutt butt. Chuck some in a stir fry with a squeeze of lime, or lash it over banana and oats for a stunning start to your day. But for best results? Wait for the dead of night and pile it high on toast. Oh yeah.
